Great British landscape photographers to watch on YouTube

Photography is an ever popular past time for a huge amount of people throughout the world. I have been into photography for a number of years, and have found that instead of browsing forums and community websites for my photography fix, I have been heading to YouTube. YouTube has always had a reasonable amount of channels for the hobby, but I have only recently noticed more and more channels cropping up that feature just good honest photography. A lot of channels focus heavily on gear talk, or reviews, and less so on actually taking photographs. Here are some of my favourite British photographers that buck that trend.

Thomas Heaton

Thomas Heaton has gained a huge following. Not only is his landscape photography fantastic, he has a high level of skill in video creation. His videos are high quality and entertaining. You can follow him out on his photographic jaunts in all weathers across the UK, and around the world.

David Gibbeson

David Gibbeson is an amazing landscape photographer. He specialises in seascapes and stunning landscapes around the South West of England. While he is a newer YouTube video creator, his videos are honest and are interesting. Seeing how someone spots so many images in a location is great to see; especially when you see his final images. His channel has a lot of promise. I can’t wait for him to make more videos. His videos are high quality and he seems more relaxed each video he makes.

Craig Roberts

Craig Roberts has a fun, informative approach to his photography videos. Not only are they entertaining, he is good at explaining his photographic compositions. His drone improvisation is also great!

Chris Paul

Chris Paul is a hobby photographer, who likes to just get out there and have fun. His upbeat attitude makes his photography videos easy going and interesting. It is also interesting watch Chris find his compositions when out on location.

Adam Kappa

Adam Kappa mainly photographs the landscapes on the Lake District. While he doesn’t photograph just landscapes, his videos are enjoyable to watch.
